The boxes are made from acetate printed images of microscopic views of bodies and landscpaes, encased in a cube made by a 3D printing pen. The boxes are laced with metal wire which trigger sound when touched by a person which triggers the wire touching the conductive paint on the table. The paint was linked to crocodile clips which fed into a bare conductive touch board with sounds coded into each paint strip. The sounds were then layered by people’s interaction, there was no way to curate people’s use which enabled unique sounds to come from playing. I’m excited about the accessibility of misunderstanding that there’s room for error and misunderstanding brings new thought processes.
